Say g’day to Chris Moreira: LevLane’s Australian/Brazilian ad maestro, lover of any music that ends in the word “rock”, and LevLane’s first Chief Creative Officer since a guy named Bruce Lev started the company.
From humble beginnings at his own startup HooperNagel (named among the Top 30 Agencies in Australia back in 2008), to the bustling beaches of Miami’s Crispin Porter + Bogusky, to the bright lights of New York at Saatchi & Saatchi, and now here in with us in the heart of Philly, it’s safe to say that Chris has pretty much worked…everywhere. And with work on clients like McDonalds, Walmart, Subaru, Head & Shoulders, Smirnoff, and many more, he’s also seemingly worked on… everything.
So why keep going?
Because for Chris, it’s always been about the pursuit of great thinking. That next big idea that lives “inside the box”, as he defines it – amazing work that leverages the limitations of a problem to find its solution. Along that 16-year journey, he’s amassed a shiny collection of awards from the likes of D&AD, Effies, CLIO, and even Cannes Lions – a testament to work that not only resonates with the audiences he’s after, but captivates their minds as well.
He’s the Steven Tyler to our Aerosmith. The Thom Yorke to our Radiohead. The Freddie Mercury that makes our creative department a hit factory. And although he might not be able to sing the way those guys do (sorry Chris), he surely knows what it takes to make campaigns that do.
